2008 continues the exciting vision put forth last year by the new release of SINGLE MOMENT . The quintet remains the same with the addition of guitarist Dale Bruning. Dale's artistry is evident throughout the recording and he adds a distiinctive solo voice to the proceedings. Check the new CD out here or at cdbaby.com. A CD release concert will be held Saturday, October 18 at Dazzle, 930 Lincoln in Denver. Shows at 7 and 9pm. 303 839 5100 The Fred Hess Big Band will debut at Dazzle, Sunday November 16 at 7pm. The ensemble will be recording in early January 2009. The band performed to an enthusiastic audience, Friday Jan. 12, 2007, at the 34th IAJE International Conference held in New York City, and May 19, at the Penofin Jazz Festival held in Ukiah, CA..
