Why Beatle Lessons?

There is much to learn from the career and music of The Beatles. They were the most prolific, influential, and successful band of the 20th century and beyond. Their unique combination of personalities and talents came together at a unique time in history, an unbelievable confluence.

The amazing thing is, they figured it out on their own. They learned, took chances, made mistakes, and got what they wanted. By studying their history and music, artists and creators other than musicians can learn from The Beatles' experience. Things like:

Any creator of art, music, or other medium, could benefit from learning from the best at success. It's an added benefit the soundtrack is so damn good.

Genesis of Beatle Lessons Pages

Beatles Lessons began as a public access television show produced and hosted by Ken Westover. These web pages were originally written to support the TV show, to provide details and references.

With the demise of the TV show and public access television in Boulder, these pages are now being used to support the 12-volume Songs of The Beatles' series of books Ken has written about the origins, production, and commercial aspects of The Beatles' music.
