Two faces from the Five Faces panel. In the Needles District of Canyonlands National Park are a number of rock art sites featuring paintings of life-sized anthropomorphic figures. These Faces panels are unique to the region and are similar enough in style to each other that there is a designated Faces Motif Anthropomorphic Style. It is possible the Puebloans were influenced by the neighboring Fremont culture to the north as Fremont figurines have been found that these images resemble. |

The Four Faces panel. These images, which are directly over a small ruin, were painted over older artwork. |

The Thirteen Faces panel, which sits under a small overhang in a creek bed. Only ten faces are left since a flood washed away three of the faces. |
