The Faces Panels

In Canyonlands National Park are a number of rock art sites featuring paintings of life-sized anthropomorphic figures. These Faces panels are unique to the region and are similar enough in style to each other that there is a designated Faces Motif Anthropomorphic Style.

The Thirteen Faces panel sits under a small overhang in a creek bed. Only ten faces are left since a flood washed away three of the faces.
