Native American Rock Art: Newspaper Rock, Utah

This panel is considered to be mainly Ute with some Fremont images as well. The Ute art was created later, some of it certainly after the Spanish brought horses back to the continent. Note the men on horses in the upper right, one with a bow and arrow shooting a deer. Figures shown include deer, bighorn sheep, buffalo, a wagon wheel, abstract geometric designs, bear footprints, and, near the top, beaver pelts.
