This web page documents my foreskin restoration progress. It's designed to be kind of a diary of my experience. I hope that it helps encourage guys who are restoring or thinking of restoring.

Introduction

Why have I made these pictures available?
These pictures are intended to encourage everyone who is restoring or wants to restore their foreskin. When I started in November 1995, I was pessimistic. Notice that I didn't even get a picture of what things were like before my efforts. I also didn't get pictures of myself before I started lifting weights either. Oh well... I should have learned.

I started out being rather pessimistic, having what I think is about the average amount of skin left after circumcision (skin pulled tight, about a half an inch from the scar to the head). The progress that I've made is encouraging.

It's a shame that I don't have any pictures before restoration but I got the camera after starting the whole process. You'll just have to take my word for it when I say that before I started, there was absolutely no wrinkling of skin when the penis was flaccid. The skin never rolled over the head of the penis. The skin was tight.

How do I do it?
Foreskin restoration is usually done by keeping the skin under moderate tension for an extended period of time, often using tape and elastic. As the skin is kept under tension the skin actually grows new cells and becomes longer. I don't have the room here to go over the details of exactly how I'm doing it. Besides, others have done a great job describing how to restore your foreskin. It has excellent instructions with pictures and diagrams. It gives you all the information that you need to start restoring.

How old am I?
I'm 31 years old. I say this because age seems to make a difference in the speed of progress. I know of guys in their late teens who's progress is over twice as fast than mine. I'm not sure whether this is typical or not. I can only assume that younger guys will have faster progress, older guys will have slower progress.

About these pictures
All of these pictures were taken after a long hot shower and after at least two days of not stretching the skin. I've done things this way because I wanted a controlled environment so that I could better measure my progress. Temperature makes a big difference in visible coverage, both hot and cold temperatures increasing it. Because of this effect, the pictures here will exagerate the amount of coverage, usually by about the amount of progress I get in two months.

The camera used is a Connectix Quick Cam (black & white, 16 levels of gray). It's cheap, about $90 bucks for either the Mac or the PC version, including overnight delivery from PC/MacConnection or Cyberian Outpost or Micro/Mac Warehouse. The 24-bit color version is about $200 but I don't own that one.
